Evan Rachel Wood is an American actress and singer. She began her career appearing in several television series, including American Gothic (1995–96) and Once and Again (1999–2002). She made her film debut in the 1997 comedy Digging to China, and went on to star in a variety of independent and studio films, including 2003’s Thirteen, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.
